These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Calorie Balance app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Not medical advice

Calorie Balance is an informational tool for tracking food and estimating a daily calorie budget. Its calorie targets and estimates are approximate and are not medical, dietary, or health advice. The app is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet, health, or an exercise program.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

Subscriptions

• The app offers auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium features.
• Price and billing period are shown in the app before you purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use it in violation of any applicable law.

Community content

Foods you add or scan may be contributed to a shared community catalog so other users can find them. By submitting a food you confirm that the information is accurate and that you hold the rights to share it.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You must not submit content that is offensive, hateful, harassing, obscene, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate. Submitted content is filtered automatically, and any user can report a community entry from within the app; reported entries are removed from search immediately and reviewed. We may remove content and block access for anyone who violates these Terms. To report content or a user, swipe a community result in the app or email support@vovaluka.com; we act on reports within 24 hours.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
